The Cardinal Stritch

week was highlighted by their second
victory this season – and third
consecutive win – over nationally
ranked Lindendwood University.
The team moved up
from fifth to third in the NAIA
national coach’s poll, jumping past
Lindenwood and Missouri Baptist,
another ranked team the Wolves
defeated last week.

Chris Arquilla received national
honors for their performances last
week. Mattia, a 6’6 outside hitter
from Bento-Goncalves, Brazil,
averaged 4.63 kills per game while
hitting .309 for the week and was
named the NAIA National Player of
the Week. Arquilla, a 5’8

important factor in his team’s
overall record and rise in the
rankings.

Montenegro) and Jacob Cosson (West
Allis, Wis.) each added 12 kills
against Lindenwood. Jankovic also
tallied 14 kills against Graceland.
